Fortress Childhood

It will demonstrate that a culture of fear is in itself harmful. It will introduce strategies for alternative parenting. And it will urge parents to relax, take reasonable precautions, connect with other parents, engage politically, train their kids in street smarts, make informed choices about where and how to live. . . and then give the kids a hug, open the door, and let them run."
