Magic Pen

Magic Pen. Quite magical. Puzzlingly so. Kind of like the computer puzzle of yore, "The Incredible Machine meets Line Rider.

Another one of those just right kind of casual intensities available to the fun-seeking computer-user, similar to that of the Filler. Available, did I say? Perhaps a better word would be "essential" - because such games bring a needed balance to our everso serious quest for sanity, challenging our intellect while celebrating the joy of having one.

For what it's worth, this looks to be a pretty blatant rip-off of "Crayon Physics Deluxe". Crayon Physics Deluxe isn't released yet, but the original "Crayon Physics" game (in which you can only draw rectangles) has been available for some time.

You can find Crayon Physics and more info on Crayon Physics Deluxe at:
http://www.kloonigames.com/crayon/

Given that Crayon Physics Deluxe is an indie game put out by a creative individual on little to no budget, it bugs me to see a Flash game portal trying to steal his game's aesthetic and gameplay hook and give him nothing in return. (No fault of yours for finding the Flash game first, of course, but thought you'd want to know.)

Thanks, Josh, I really appreciate the correction. Funny, as it were, how these things happen. OK, not funny, sobering, actually.

I agree. I hate to see an inventor lose control and credit for his/her brilliance.

I guess designers now have to put out their own Flash versions of their games to prevent such semi-rip-offs.

For me, as a Mac-using fun-lover, it's all about access. I guess it needs to be at least equally about giving credit where credit is due.

Thanks again for the correction.

Due-credits aside, I just wasted far too many hours getting to level 26. Thanks for the link, Bernie.
