Becoming a Fun Coach

by Bernie on June 12, 2010

Listen, if you want to be a FUNcoach, don’t let me stop you. In fact, let me help you.

You don’t really need to be certified by anybody except the people whose lives you make more fun.

Basically, if you play/work with groups and individuals who either wish to live more fulfilling, enjoyable lives or are in the process of recovery from illness or addiction, or adjusting to some major life change – negative changes like disease, debilitation, loss of a job or home, death in the family; as well as positive changes like retirement, the achievement of a milestone, the acquisition of wealth or wisdom – you’re probably a FUNcoach, no matter what you else you call yourself.

On the other hand, if you want help in becoming a FUNcoach, or in improving your FUNcoaching skills, here I am.

I can help you in one-on-one and small group sessions, conducted by phone and via Internet. We’ll talk, we’ll play, we’ll talk about play, we’ll talk about resources for more play – all focused on everyday fun and how to help people find it.

As we continue, I’ll do what I can to help deepen your understanding of and competence in techniques for bringing fun and laughter to unstructured situations in every day life. I’ll share some resources and methods that will help you bring more light and lightness to every aspect of life: your relationships, your work, your play, your time alone, your time with others, your time when you’re just waiting around for something to happen. All of this so that you’ll be better able to bring your clients tools that they can use to bring fun to every aspect of their lives.
