Ziggy Pasta Ball Mondo - from Office Playground

This is a Ziggy Pasta Ball Mondo – as if it could be anything else. It’s from one of our favorite suppliers of business playthings, Office Playground. It is, of course, not a ball. You can, however, throw it with relative impunity at those who would normally impune (given the appropriate circumstances). It is almost as easy to catch as it is to throw.

Made of many stretchy strands, the Ziggy Pasta Ball Mondo is inspiringly flexible. You can hold it by a few strands and use it as something similar to a yo-yo, but requiring a lot less skill. You can spin it around like bolas and impress yourself and others with the physics of centrifugal force. You can let go of a spinning Ziggy Pasta Ball Mondo and launch it mightily into the great elsewhere.

Or you can sit quietly at your desk, squeezing, fondling, braiding, stretching, arranging, dividing, sorting, and all those semi-contemplative things one needs so desperately to do when one is being presented to.

In other words, one could easily consider the Ziggy Pasta Ball Mondo paradigmatic of that for which one should look when one is considering purchasing a meeting toy: it lends itself to almost every meeting mood. It allows for creativity, interactivity, self-expression, contemplation, engagement, withdrawal – bringing a sense of play to every purpose. And, of course, it provides the sillier amongst us that oft-needed, yet frequently denied opportunity to manifest.
