The ImagineCam™ and The Fun of Work - an Imaginary Multimedia Production

Imagine that you’re on the web, and you happen to notice a banner ad. Imagine that, for a banner ad, it’s really remarkably attractive and of advanced clearly advanced technology. You see what appears to be a camera viewfinder, and in the viewfinder, appear, fully rendered in rotating multicolored lettering:

You are sorely tempted to click on the banner. It beckons, entices, portends. So you pretend that you do click on banner.

A new window appears with a sound like a heavenly chorus carousing. There, in fully zoomable detail, the viewfinder-like frame nearly fills the screen. Only the frame is more than a frame, for framed within the frame are control panels of unimaginable complexity.

Somehow knowing that you are not that new of a user, a text window appears, and you, for no apparent reason type “me, for no apparent reason, having fun in the name of “work.””

Imagine yourself clicking somewhere on the imaginary image of the ImagineCam™’s frame. Imagine an image of you doing something else at work that is you having fun. At work. Again, click anywhere on the frame. Again, via the amazing ImagineCam, in startling clarity, an image of you doing a whole nother fun thing in the name of work. You in the halls, saying hello, you re-discovering how good you are at your job, you learning something new.

And if you don't do anything long enough, the whole picture dissolves into a chart depicting the bottom-line impact of the fun you're having on the work you're doing and vice versa.

Imagine beautiful music, reaching crescendo.
