In response to the Oaqui* Co-On: What is The Sound of the ME\WE WE/MEing? I/we often can be found in groups of one or more person/s, more or less "contemplayting," sometimes holding hands or looking into a mirror with my/our eyes closed, and separately and together calling the WE/ME into being.

Simultaneously, as I/we breathe out, I/we whisper the word "ME"

I/we do this over and over, each time, when I/we whisper "ME!" I/we hear the whispering "WE." If you know what I/we mean.

Because, see, I'm/we're all saying ME at the same time, see, and so what I/we hear, you know, is not just me/us saying ME, but the sound of the big ME/WE itself: the sound of EVERYONE saying ME, which is the sound of all of US/ME being a lot of MEs at the same time, which is exactly what WE means. And should mean. And, by golly, what we'll make it mean.

The WE/ME: a unified diversity of being diversely unified in a remarkably unified kind of highly divergent way.

Hear it whisper. It calls your name.

In response to this particularly Oaqui revelation, two readers of our Fun List have cast further light upon the nature of Oaqui Me-ditation:

From: Tobin Quereau

One trivial and most respectful addition on the path of ME/WEing which was apparently dropped in the most recent translation of the Oaqui Oane's Oaords.

For those whose faith is not immune to the scientific perspective, it might be helpful to note that the me-ditative practice of Oaqui Oaneness is not just some fanciful and arcane mystical gobbledygook. No!...

The Oaqui is able to make this amazing transformation by the simple act of me-ditating while standing on her/his/their/our head(s)! Thus ME is, through non-action, transformed into WE. For those who are prone to becoming cross-eyed or sea-sick while in such positions, of course, there are other, more advanced practices which can be used under the appropriate guidance of a two to three year-old. Thus sayeth the Oane.

From: John Hood

Major FUN:

Perhaps the most amazing ME/WE ness is that when ME/WE helps WE\ME stand on our shoulders we learn that WE\ME is a mirror image of WE/ME.

  • ME/WE
  • WE\ME
  • And this is even more obvious with a typeface different than that for e-mail messages.

In response to the above observations, the Oaqui is/are forced to note that, despite the almost mystical truths revealed above, the actual upside down and perhaps mirror image of ME/WE is actually more remarkably similar to the apparently mystic expression: 3M\3W. The meaning of this has yet to be determined.
